The light-bodied 12 e Mezzo Malvasia Nera del Salento from Varvaglione glides into the glass with a brilliant ruby red color. The first nose of 12 e Mezzo Malvasia Nera del Salento reveals of blackcurrants, black cherries and plums. The fruity aspects of the bouquet are joined by notes of barrel aging such as even more fruity-balsamic nuances.

On the palate, the texture of this light-bodied red wine is wonderfully light and velvety. The finish of this red wine with good aging potential from the wine-growing region of Puglia, more precisely from Salento IGT (IT), finally convinces with considerable reverberation.
