Frequently Asked Questions

We’re always here to help – whether it’s about our service, your delivery, or choosing the perfect wine. Below you’ll find answers to some of the most common questions. If you can’t find what you’re looking for, just head over to our Contact Us page – we’ll be happy to assist.

What days do you deliver on?

Most deliveries are made Monday to Friday.
Please note: We do not deliver on Sundays or Bank Holidays.

What if no one is home when my wine is delivered?

Deliveries are handled by DPD, one of the UK’s leading courier services.

If you’re not home:

  • DPD will first attempt to deliver to a neighbour (signature required).

  • If delivery isn’t possible, they’ll leave a calling card with instructions to rearrange delivery or collect from your local depot.

  • DPD will make two delivery attempts.

  • If unsuccessful, your parcel will be held at the nearest DPD depot for 7 days, after which it will be returned to us.

To resend the wine, we will apply a redelivery charge of £8.95.

What happens if my wine is damaged in transit?

Our packaging is designed to protect your wine, but on rare occasions, breakages can occur.

If this happens:

  • Our courier will notify us, and we’ll arrange a replacement shipment for the affected items.

  • We also recommend you contact us directly if you notice any damage upon delivery.

Important:
Please check:

  • The number of parcels delivered

  • The condition of the wine

before signing for the delivery.

We regret that we cannot accept liability for breakages after a parcel has been signed for.
