Gobillard Champagne, Brut Grande Réserve Premier Cru, NV

The Gobillard Grande Reserve is a very enjoyable, rounded Champagne, with aromas and flavours of baked Bramley apples. Lively and fun, its acidity is well-balanced and integrated, so it has freshness without sharpness. Exclusively from Premier Cru locations, this is crafted from 50% Pinot Noir, 25% Chardonnay and 25% Pinot Meunier, and is made by an excellent quality, small producer located between Taittinger and Dom Pérignon in the village of Hautvilliers. The Premier Cru vineyards whose fruit goes into this Champagne are mostly in Hautvilliers, as well as the neighbouring villages of Cumières and Dizy.
