Chateau Sainte Marie, Cote du Jura Savagnin Ouille, 2022

Domaine de Sainte-Marie is forty years old and is located at the foot of Chateau Chalon. Aged in oak tuns and oak barrels under a yeast veil, this 100% Savagnin cuvee offers typical aromas of nuts, spices, cooked apple and curry, characteristic of this Juracian grape variety. Fresh, slightly typical, rich and with a fine acidity that balances the concentrated flavours, the texture is full and silky. This wine is perfect with chicken and morel mushrooms, Comte cheese or fish in a creamy sauce. This is a fine expression of the Jura terroir, ideal for lovers of atypical wines rich in character.
