Château Saint-Roch, Tangerina Orange Wine, 2024

This is a magnificent orange wine, with a startling colour to match the eyecatching label. It has alluring aromas of rose petals, rosehips, vanilla, Earl Grey tea, citron zest and Pimm's. The texture is marvellously silky, with super-fine tannin and lovely, evolved, vanilla cream character. Made from Grenache Blanc grapes, macerated on their skins, if you close your eyes this could almost be a supple, subtle and oh-so-complex red Grenache. Beautifully-done.
