Chateau D'Esclans, Maison Galoupet Cru Classe Rose Organic, 2023

Château Galoupet, a prestigious Provence Cru Classé estate, was revitalised in 2019 by Moët Hennessy. The estate spans 77 hectares of woodland and 69 hectares of vineyards. The estate’s rebirth is spearheaded by Jessica Julmy, who envisioned it as a haven for biodiversity. The 2023 vintage of this wine marks the third release of this newly reimagined rosé, crafted from a blend of Grenache, Syrah, Tibouren, Rolle and Cinsault. It boasts rich and expressive notes of mango and pineapple, with a touch of grapefruit zing. It's a balanced mix of exotic and Mediterranean flavours, finished with a silky texture and a hint of salinity. This versatile wine pairs beautifully with a range of dishes, from a zesty tuna tataki to a delicate apricot tart.
