Bogle Family Vineyards, Phantom, 2020

Petite Sirah 49% - Zinfandel 49% - Mourvèdre 2%. Three distinctive grape varieties that combine lush berry and fierce spice into this wine. Deeply luscious and succulent blackberries, aromas of anise and sweet fig are embraced by touches of black pepper. Subtle notes of cloves and vanilla emerge and complement the concentrated fruit character of the wine. Bottle age will integrate the three unique varieties more, although we suspect most people won't wait to enjoy this wonderful wine! By the way, it gets even better with air, so we recommend decanting it.
