Bodega Catena Zapata, Catena Zapata Birth of Cabernet Sauvignon, 2022

Catena Birth of Cabernet 2021 is a medium-bodied red wine produced from grapes sourced from two distinct vineyards. La Piramide in Agrelo and Angelica Sur in Paraje El Cepillo, Valle de Uco. The harvest is conducted by hand, with fermentation occurring in concrete eggs and small stainless-steel tanks. The wine is aged for 18-24 months in a mix of first, second, and third-use French oak barrels. Catena is recognised for pioneering high-altitude viticulture in Argentina.
